Im Rahmen des Genfer Autosalon enthüllt Hyundai die Weltpremiere des Hyundai Ioniq. Dieses Fahrzeug bietet als erstes drei unterschiedliche, elextrifizierte Antriebssystem auf einer Plattform. Den Handel errechen zunächst ab Sommer diesen Jahres der Ioniq Hybrid und Ioniq Electric; der Plug-in Hybrid folgt später. Die drei Modelle Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid, Hyundai Ioniq Electric und Hyundai Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid sind jedoch nicht die einzigen modernen Fahrzeuge von Hyundai auf dem Stand in Genf.
