Bmw apps and Bmw Connected help please ???

Hello everyone,

I have bmw 535D Touring M pack 04.2011 and in menu of my idrive i don´t have the option connecteddrive i only have the bmw services and i want connect my iphone how i can make appear in idrive the option connecteddrive.

I buy this auto in the last week i dont know if have the option. i try to connect with iphone 4 with app bmw connected and the app dont connect to the car and the selftest give me error. in my drive appear bmw services not connected drive.

So take your VIN and check the built-in SAs vis Internet. There you can see whether you've the SA Apps or not.

in the front window you need to have the letters connected drive like in the attachment.

otherwise , it looks like, you don´t have the option in the car.

depending on your country, it may be an option to use yor phone for internet an bmw online/live. but NO connected drive will be possible this way.

Hello!

So Apps is built-in. From which country you got your car. Connectd Drive is not available in few countries. May be it depends on that. In this way you have only BMW Online as option. Could be codeable by e-sys.

That's the reason why you don't have it. As far as I know connecteddrive is not available in Switzerland.

Here you can see it. Click on "Verfügbar in" (available in)

No, you can't use.

Dear,

In my opinion you will not be able to use MyRemote but, since your car is equipped with SA614, it will be possible to use the BMW Connected app in combination with an iPhone and a standard USB-cabke or a BMW Snap-In device. You will also have access to the internet through the idrive.

I think so, too. The App has actually nothing to do with Connected Drive. Have you tried to activate Apps on your iPhone? Then you could check, if you see e.g. your calendar in the messages menu.

Not quite correct...

F1x models prior 2011 might not have this "print" in the windscreen but do have Connected Drive - depending on their interior list...
