dyno check motor for condition...

BMW 3er E36
Themenstarteram 5. Juli 2007 um 15:22

I want to buy in next 2-3 mont m3 3.0. Cars have from 130.000-180.000km (80.000-110.000miles). My mechanich will check car. But, I want to test motor on dyno. How dyno must look that I can be sure that engine and transmission is in good condition? Is it possible to dyno operator "hack" results?

thanks

@foler:

I really dont know whats the matter with u!

This is already the 5. or even 6. thread u startet here (at least!), all of them about the BMW M3, but sometimes u say you´ve got already one, next time u´ve got it in spares and now u say that u´re looking for one...

So what...?! Are you kidding, a faker or just a little boy with to much spare time to waste? (in that case better go try and improve ur horrible english.)

U want us to answer all ur questions - which we really try to do, but sometimes its just necessary that u give us some more information, especially when we ask u for further details!

BUT U NEVER EVER GIVE ANY ANSWER BACK HERE APART FROM YOUR THREAT-STARTING-POST!

Thats not how this forum is supposed to work!

(at least u changed ur stupid signature... ;) )

yea yea. hitler is good man. entire world need to know german language. entire cyberspace is on english-(((, only people in germany do not understand essential words!!!

My english is not perfect because I am from Croatia. But, I can communicate with all forums outside germany, and all people understand what I want. Only on this forum people have trouble with english. Sorry, this is not my problem.

But, only for you I will log-out and you can have better dreams.

Yeah, would be better to log off, 'cause germans don't like Hitler anymore, you know...

So go and please never come back ;)

Ich finde es witzig, dass er so einen Schwachsinn schreibt !

americans have got a "small hittler", too...his name is called Bush...;)

@foler:

I wasn´t supposed to criticise ur english, it was just the way you wrote it. this (actually nerver seen before) mixture between german and english doesn´t make any sense.

What I was intended to say is, that we need your help to give u the right answers for ur questions. we all try to do u a favour!

U always just say a few sentences and then u never come back. so where´s the sense to ask anyway? (and especially if its about the M3 then people start to get suspicious ´cause we already had a lot of fakers here. and related to that u write nearly in every post something else about YOUR M3 just think about how it looks to us, ok?)

please don´t get it wrong... :)

Kindly Martin

Martin, what is wrong with my question? I only want to be prepared for buying car. Forum is here for finding help.

right, thats the main reason...but in some of ur threads u asked questions which we couln´t answer before we had some more details from u! but u never came back to the thread.

thats what i mean.

If you will come back to read our messages or not, doesn't matter.

I suppose dyno test is just to test how much power an engine has, correct me if I'm wrong. Never did a dyno test until now.

But to test if an engine is ok or not you can make a compression test of the engine. But if you have a friend who is mechanist he will help you with that.

Important...make a test drive with your prospective M3, it's an obligation before buying a car!

180.000 km is much for a M3. Maybe you won't have fun with the M3 along with much mileage!

Cause the M3 are more or less driven at the limit and with much mileage be prepared to be faced with unexpected costs.

Therefore try to get a M3 with lower mileage and let check it clearly to have fun for a several time.

Regards,

2Fast
