E61 Key won’t send signal

Hey there!

 

I recently bought a 2005 e61 525d. One big problem: The key does not work. It doesn’t send a signal, tried it at the car key specialist. He can’t get anything out of it either.

 

The diversity module works, so that’s something we can rule out.

 

Any idea on how to fix the key other than replacing the battery? Already tried this.
