Golf 7 highline camera retrofit

Hello, i am writing in english, i hope it is not problem.

I own golf 7 2019. and Passat b8 2019.

My friend installed on my golf 7 Original highline parking camera. I noticed that picture on camera is not good as it should be. (Photo 1.)

I parked golf and passat on same parking spot, and you can see difference on these two cameras. There is too much car bumper on golf camera and less area behind the car. Also you can see yellow house behind car, much more you can see house with passat camera then on golf camera.

Man kann an der Stoßstange eindeutig erkennen, dass die Kalibrierung fehlerhaft bzw gar nicht durchgeführt wurde. Sofern gar nicht kalibriert, müsste im Fehlerspeicher der Rückfahrkamera eine Fehlermeldung stehen.

Sobald du die Kamera kalibrierst, wird auch das Bild nicht mehr schief sein und die Verzerrungen minimiert.

 

You can clearly see from the bumper that the calibration was done incorrectly or not at all. If it has not been calibrated at all, there should be an error message in the reversing camera.

As soon as you calibrate the camera, the image will no longer be skewed and the distortions will be minimised.
