Google Maps mit Apple Car Play machbar?
Hallo,
ich habe Apple Car Play. Standardmäßig wird hier die Apple Maps verwendet, Google Maps ist aber 1000 mal besser und ich würde gern darüber navigieren. Geht das? Wenn ja wie?

Lasst das lieber, wäre ja off-topic.
Es geht ja nicht einmal um die Frage, ob Apples oder Googles Navi besser funktioniert, sondern nur um die Frage, ob sich Google Maps anziehen lässt. Das geht nicht. Damit ist dann alles erklärt.

Google hat da immerhin schon mal Waze als Alternative.
Ärgert mich auch, dass Google Maps nicht funktioniert. Einzige Lösung momentan ist es, Google Maps im Hintergrund und am Smartphone zu starten und bei CarPlay die Karte anzeigen zu lassen ohne Navigation.

I'll be happy to help you. Please give a try to the steps mentioned below:
First enter the ‘Settings’ app.
Select ‘General’ settings.
Select ‘Background App Refresh’ settings.
Make sure ‘Background App Refresh’ has its switch set to the On (green) position.
Scroll down to Google Maps and make sure the switch is set to the On (green) position.
Next go back to the ‘Settings’ first screen and scroll down to ‘Privacy’ settings.
Select ‘Location Services’ settings.
Make sure ‘Location Services’ is set to the On (green) position.
Scroll down on this screen to ‘Google Maps’ and make sure it is set to ‘While Using’.
If the last step isn’t set correctly, tap on it and select it from the sub screen.
Now connect your iPhone to your CarPlay system and open the Google Maps app on your iPhone (Note: it will not be on the CarPlay display).
On your iPhone, select the location you like directions for and start the turn-by-turn navigation by pressing the start navigation button in Google Maps.
With your navigation started, you can now navigate away from Google Maps and start any other CarPlay enabled app. Google Maps will now run in the background, uninterrupted, and it will alert you with directions over any CarPlay app without closing it.
Note:
Avoid app switching too much, because the Google Maps app has to keep running in the background, and should any CarPlay apps take up too much memory on your iPhone, the Google Maps app has a strong chance of being automatically closed by the iOS system.
Einfach Apple Karten nutzen. Ist so schlecht nicht. Bin bisher immer damit angekommen. Warum ist Google Maps besser?

Okay das hab ich auch gerade mal versucht. Siri ist da furchtbar. Aber das hat ja mit den Karten nix zu tun. Wenn man das Ziel eingibt geht es gut.
Apple hatte mit Siri einen echten Vorsprung, den haben sie mehr als nur wirklich aus der Hand gegeben.

Bei Apple wird man oft auf eine Insel die 10.000 km weg ist geschickt, wenn man was sucht/nicht die genaue Adresse hat.
Google maps finde ich einfach besser. Google weiss dann einfach wo man hin möchte ;-).

Nein selbst wenn man da noch nie war. zB gibt es die gleiche Strasse in der Nähe und 2x ganz wo anders in . Google schlägt die richtige Strasse vor/nimmt die richtige, Apple schickt dich nach Namibia, weilsnda auch soneine Strasse gibt. Apple Maps ist da einfach "meilenweit" hinterher. Einfach grottig schlecht.
