RS5 Cabrio endlich da!
Kein Zeit fur ubersetzen auf Deautsch, aber er ist da! After a long wait, my beauty finally arrived (see pics).
What a car.............after driving a V6T for several years, I am so happy to be back in a car with a V8!
This proofs again that specs on paper are not leading in how a car drives and behaves. In performance, the RS5 might be as fast as a tuned V6T, but the handling, steering and suspension is really in another league, and .......................of course the exhaust note of the V8 makes it a real winner and puts a continuous smile on your face :D
Will write a more extensive user report later, now I go driving! :)

your RS5 is very nice! Especially the Interieur is great!
I have got the V8 in the Audi S5 Coupe and it is a great engine, really. I drove also a S4 V6T, this is not my engine. The consumption is the same, but the sound is better.
The seats in your RS5 are very nice, what colour is it?
Bei allem Respekt vor diesem Traum (Auto): Klimakomfortsitze im RS5 gehen gar nicht, aber jeder wie er mag. Ansonsten natürlich Top...

Ja sowas würd ich nicht direkt sagen, habe meinen A5 auch bewusst mit Komfortsitzen gekauft, und bereue es keinesfalls, bin sogar jedes mal glücklich wenn ich in den A5 meines Schwagers einsteige der sline Sitze hat... Erstens viel komfortabler (vorallem nach Tieferlegung des Fahrzeugs) und zweitens keine Abnutzung an den Seitenwangen wie bei den Sportsitzen durch das ein- und aussteigen..

Die Klimakomfortsitze im Cabrio sind nicht mit denen im Coupe oder Sportback zu vergleichen. Im Cabrio sind es eher veränderte Sportsitze, auf den ersten Blick sehen sie zumindest so aus. Zusätzlich haben sie aber gelochtes Leder und die Nackenheizung (auf Wunsch). Im Cabrio gefallen sie mir sehr gut und beim RS5 Cabriolet würde ich mir auch überlegen, ob ich an Stelle der S-Sportsitze die Klimakomfortsitze nehmen würde. Im Coupe würde ich die Klimasitze nicht nehmen, die sehen mir zu sehr nach Normalsitz aus. Im S5 habe ich die S-Sportsitze, im RS5 Coupe würde ich nur die RS-Sitze nehmen, aber im Cabrio ist das halt was anderes ;)

Thx, Same for me, the V6T was fast, but in another league as the V8 (in character, sound, etc). And the RS5 V8 is even more dynamic as the S4/S5 V8 I had before (especially in sound, higher rpm, etc).
The interior is in Nappa leather Cognac (Audi Exclusive, I did not want black, the only standard color of these (comfort) seats, S-sport seats can be black or silver only).

Most important reason to choose for these seats IS the air-scarf (Nackenheizung). A great feature for a convertible car, that extends the open use enormously (also on the Autobahn, without you get a stiff neck very easily). In the Coupe, I would choose the S-sport seats too (pity there is no air-scarf option in the S-sport seats, could be done if you look at the SLS AMG seats with air-scarf).
These RS5 comfort seats, are different however than the comfort seats in the A5/S5 cabrio I had.........these are more Sportseats (more side support). Don't know if this is RS5 only, or a facelift thing.
Drove on the German Autobahn today........really enjoy driving with the roof down and hear the V8 sound! :-)

I wouldn't take the S-seats in a convertible either, looks weird imo. Your choice looks great.
