Star on the front bonnet broken and stolen.
Hello everyone, what can I put in place of the stolen star?
The flat emblem must be 44 mm. or is 57 mm also good?
Any examples?
Thank you

"Any examples" ?

Call up and scroll down the above link.
The 44mm Ones should fit into the deepening
...and the 57mm Ones will conceal it...

This looks like the 57mm.
It's not bad...
"what can I put in place of the stolen star" ?
Well...
while looking at the picture you've sent,
I have to admit that the mounting of a
new star seems to be the superior decision...
At least to me, that is...

I didn't want to sleep in the car with the rifle...
Moin,
ohne Stern, ist das kein richtiger Mercedes!

So True, but:

Although there is (still) no guarantee that the star will remain in place.
Incidentally,
I could use the same switch/contact to activate
the dashcam (which is part of my interior mirror).
see pic.
...this approach might be worth considering...
Whether the solution shown in the FB link is available
in the 208 world, I really don't know but,
it appears to be properly implemented...
Of course, all of this should be taken with a wink...

It costs too much and then you always have to carry it in your pocket...

Well, that's Italy but,
in Germany this Offer would'nt be allowed to mount.
The bottom end must be springy/pliable,
thanks to the risk of injury some villains might suffer
...while trying to remove it from your Car...
