Lenkrad wackelt/ zittert
Hallo Leute,
Bei meinem 218 i active tourer ist mir aufgefallen, sobald ich das Lenkrad ab etwa 50 km/h loslasse ein selbst entstehendes aufschaukeln. Man kann es auch als wackeln beschreiben. Der Wagen fährt gerade aus, aber das Lenkrad wackelt. Habt ihr bei eurem auch das Problem ??? Mein Händler hat schon andere Felgen und Reifen probiert, nachdem er deswegen zwei mal da war hat der Händler gesagt es wäre bei allen Fahrzeugen so.

Vielleicht hängt es auch mit dem aktuellen Rückruf zusammen. Es soll ja im Rahmen dessen unter anderem auch ein Elektronikbauteil an der Lenkung ausgetauscht werden. Evtl. Ein Fehler in der Steuerung der Servolenkung!?
Ich habe das gleiche Problem. Mir ist, Stand letzte Woche, noch keine Lösung seitens BMW bekannt. Ein kürzlich von mir gefahrener Neuwagen hatte das Problem nicht.
Bin gespannt, ob Du (irgendwann) von einer Lösung berichten kannst.

Ich würde ein "Lenkwinkelsensor anlernen" ausprobieren. Schaden kann das nicht, aber eventuell kann helfen.
I am also having the same problem. For me, the shaking feeling happens in b/w 70 -90km/hr with more vibrations at 74-76km/hr. I can even feel slight body vibrations also.
I have attached a video with the paper as a reference. Otherwise, the shake is difficult to capture with the camera, even though the vibration is pronounced.

Sind die Reifen vorne ordentlich ausgewuchtet? Sind die Bremsscheiben von gute Hersteller und nicht deformiert?

I will update the new info today. I will get my car today from the service center.
The car is having Michellin Cross Climate all season and rial alloys. I have done wheel alignment and balancing last week. Thanks again for the feedback:):)
Got the car today, and they told me they adjusted the alignment, but the issue still persists.
Also, there are 2 recalls one has been done and the other is related to steering, which will be done after 2-3 weeks.
After buying the car in 6 months, I went to the workshop 5 times 3 times Autonomous related problems, and 2 times for the recall with a pending problem which I believe they don't know the root cause of (steering vibration). fingers crossed!!

I also got the same answer. BMW had no solution to the problem. As a customer, who appreciated BMW I am feeling bad about my decision. I hope one day, BMW. starts valuing the customers, at least for the people buying ordinary models. Lessons Learned!! Thank you Bert?? for the feedback. Happy new year??

Ich lese hier mit einem Auge aus dem Mercedes Forum mit. Komme vom aktuellen B und bin auch mit der straffen Lenkung nicht ganz zufrieden. Dort gab es auch manchmal Themen mit schiefer Lenkung und der gleichen
Aber das mit den Vibrationen ist ja auch wirklich ärgerlich und macht den Fahrspaß sicherlich schmäler

I have my summer tyres with the original BMW 18'' and my all-season tyres with 17". it is almost the same with both tyres. But the vibration occurring speed changed from 73km/hr to 84km/hr.. But the vibration is there.
I gave the car to BMW Niderlassungs and the technicians from Munich came to check the car and told me it is a software issue. But I test-drove another 118d, a recent month make and it is not having any problem. I believe this is a problem with the chassis tuning.. I was so disappointed because the only part we touch all the time in a car is the steering wheel and that part is having a problem. I was also having a problem with the indicator stalk, one of the worst indicator stalk feelings, every time I put the right indicator the stalk feels like it is going to break or some weird click noise. My car is from the first series, maybe that is why. But the term "Luxury" "Driving feel" "Interface" everything is a becoming a myth at least with 2 series.
