RNS 510 ist ihm wohl zu langsam (wenn ich es richtig verstehe).....und ich dachte, Italiener sind eh die gemütlichere Typen ohne Stress und Zeitdruck. :cool:

Ho provato vari aggiornamenti fino alla 2680 ma non riuscivo ad avere un punto fisso e sono tornato alla 1100 che subito funziona ma dopo lo spegnimento non fissa piu’ i punti
Er scheint wohl Probleme mit dem GPS-Signal zu haben. Er hat das RNS510 nachgerüstet und verschiedene Firmware-Versionen probiert und wohl auch die GPS-Antenne getauscht. Mit Version 1100 scheint es einigermaßen zu laufen, aber immer noch sehr lange zu dauern, bis das GPS die aktuelle Position gefunden hat. Ich Tippe mal auf schlechte oder schlecht verbaute Antenne.
@nobilenzo: Hello and welcome to the forum. If i understand you correctly you have a problem with your retrofitted RNS510. Does it take ages until the GPS has located your position? You should tell us, which antenna you have mounted and especially WHERE you have mounted it.
Try the following: Open the small side window in MAP mode by pushing the MAP button twice. Then select the GPS viewer by tapping the drop down menu above the small side window. In the GPS viewer you can see the number of satellites the RNS510 does receive at the moment. The number of satellites should be at least four, if it is less, the GPS fix may take very long and you should check the position of your GPS antenna.
