X204 04-2015 NTH4.7 no aux socket found
Hallo fellow forum mebers:
We are the proud owners of a low milage mopf x204 from 04-2015. When looking to upgrade the display with a 1920x720 android 13 mn-x we found that its audio is injected via aux. Via the engineering menu we have activated the aux option which is now shown correctly on the menu. However we cannot locate the 3,5mm plug aux input, not in the glove compartment (no socket at all), not in the centre console (only 1xusb).
How is this done, do we need an extra module or cable? In this configuration one can even not play music from the cellphone.
Any reaction, suggestion, link or ultimate solution is more than welcome.
thanks in advance and regards
Martin

Imho you need a Media Interface Consumer Kable Kit. You can get this from the Mercedes dealer or eBay.
Some how it seems that the aux input is analog and should be equipped with 3,5mm plug or jack. In my last pre mopf GLK such a jack was in the centre storage where we now have a single digital usb socket.
What I see on ebay searching for Media Interface Consumer Kable Kit are add-on cables ending with a micro usb or C-usb. That doesn't seem to be what we need to inject the audio from a android 13 mn-x head unit.
Anyone has installed such a miracle?
